It seems we are going to get an iOS 10 jailbreak finally. Pangu is planning to introduce first ever iOS 10 jailbreak for both iPhone and iPad devices. There are several iOS 10 running devices available in the market, but only few are going to get the jailbreak.
Pangu is developing an iOS 10 jailbreak tool from last couple of weeks. We heard mixed reports about the launch timeline and Apple fixing the jailbreak exploit before launch. The rumor mills are on job with crunching every information coming from jailbreak developers. In the meanwhile, we are here to discuss some technical details of the upcoming iOS 10 – 10.1.1 Jailbreak tool.
Update: The iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak finally goes available for everyone. You can now jailbreak iOS 10.1.1 on iPhone or iPad using Yalu Jailbreak.
iOS 10 Jailbreak Supporting Few Devices:
It’s time to kick out every confusion about upcoming jailbreak tool such as if they are ever going to release it or not. Pangu will surely release an iOS 10 jailbreak tool, but we don’t know when it is coming out. Our words are based on the sources who claim different stuff. Recently, some reports suggested Pangu is finally opening its door for the next iOS 10 jailbreak in the month of November. According to report, the iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak will launch in the second week of November with support of all iOS 10 firmwares.
Pangu is going to support all iOS 10 firmwares including iOS 10.1.1. It made things easier for us to understand the current jailbreak development process. Pangu has waited enough for iOS 10.1 to get released. Apple is already busy in developing iOS 10.2, and it marks the November as prime time to launch the jailbreak tool.
However, there are going to be some changes in general iOS Jailbreak community. Many are going to abuse Pangu for not keeping their devices in the supported devices list, and some will understand the reasons behind it. Pangu has previously dropped 32bit devices support from their Pangu Jailbreak tool.
Supported iOS 10 Jailbreak Devices
There are chances that same thing is going to repeat with iOS 10 jailbreak tool. Pangu may not release an iOS 10 jailbreak for older devices. They are all focused on developing a jailbreak exploit for latest devices. This year, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users are going to get their first jailbreak from Pangu.
If Pangu decides not to support older devices, here are some of the devices that are not going to get the Pangu iOS 10 Jailbreak:
- iPhone 5c
- iPhone 5
There are fair chances that Pangu will not release a jailbreak tool for them. The PP Jailbreak team will only focus on the 64 bit devices. Apple has made major changes in iOS 10 to make the future of iOS devices 64 bit only devices. Pangu has shifted their focus on 64bit devices with previous jailbreak releases.
With iPhone 7 release this year, everyone is now focused on getting the jailbreak for newer devices. Pangu may not release an update to their tools to include the older devices. There were some reports suggesting iH8Sn0w has also achieved an iOS 10 jailbreak exploit, but it only works on older devices.
If you are carrying an iPhone 5 or iPhone 5c device, then your hopes should be aligned with iH8sn0w progress. We heard no update from him regarding the release of his iOS 10 Jailbreak tool.
In the meanwhile, we are rulling iOS 10 jailbreak tool is getting released for only latest devices. The older devices jailbreak is yet to be discussed in the public. The older devices are not going to get iOS 10 jailbreak.
