Pangu is maintaining its silence on iOS 10 jailbreak tool release. We haven’t heard any credible news from them in the past few months. However, Pangu is expected to release an iOS 10 jailbreak tool update later this month. On other hand, Apple is giving tough competition to upcoming hackers with continuous development of iOS 10.2 beta.
Apple has recently rolled out iOS 10.2 beta 4 update for iPhone and iPad devices. Critics are now saying that iOS 10.2 beta is keeping Pangu busy in tackling upcoming challenges that Apple has designed to prevent public jailbreak releases. We are hearing mixed reports from everyone. At one side, there is an open-source developer who has worked previously with Pangu to achieve jailbreak on iOS 9.3.4. According to him, Pangu has already developed the iOS 10 jailbreak tool and now waiting for prime time to release it.
However, critics find it hard to swallow the update. Majority iOS users are losing their hope on Pangu, and looking forward for other jailbreak hacker teams such as Unlock-Jailbreak team. We have covered the Unlock-Jailbreak team’s entry in the market with bold claims on achieving iOS 10 jailbreak.
iOS 10.2 Creates Hurdle for iOS 10 Jailbreak Release
Both Pangu and Taig’s silence on iOS 10 jailbreak is allowing fake jailbreak teams to enter in the market with claims to have a jailbreak. Critics all over Twitter and Reddit are going crazy to hear anything solid from Pangu to assure them about the upcoming iOS 10 jailbreak solution. Some believes iOS 10.2 is going to be yet another tough iOS update which will prevent any public jailbreak release for iPhone and iPad users.
Apple started rapid development of iOS this year to keep hacker teams busy, and so far it seems to be working. Pangu takes a month or two before releasing the jailbreak, but this time it’s been months since we have received any update from them. Independent sources are siding with Alibaba’s security engineer who claimed December is going to be a jailbreak month.
He claims to be contributing in Pangu’s iOS 10 jailbreak tool, and sets the release date for Christmas weekend. Meanwhile, Apple is also preparing to launch iOS 10.2 in the similar timeline to prevent the public jailbreak. It is going to be a tough month for Pangu as they would have to rush and push their jailbreak tool before the launch of iOS 10.2 for iPhone and iPad devices.
Luca Todesco is independently working with different developers to mature his exploits and sharing his achievements of jailbreak on iOS 10.2 beta running devices. It seems Luca’s exploit are yet to be patched and working well for him. He has no plans to publicly release the jailbreak tool.
iOS 10 Jailbreak Release In December
We are back to Pangu and their upcoming plans for the jailbreak. At this moment, Pangu only seems to be our option that can offer a free iOS 10 jailbreak for users. If any jailbreak is coming, it would be coming from the Pangu Jailbreak team. There are no doubts if Apple releases iOS 10.2 update before the launch of iOS 10 jailbreak, it can then easily delay the launch of the jailbreak tool.
Apple served the fourth beta of iOS 10.2 to developers recently, and making it like the last beta to introduce before the public launch of iOS 10.2 for iPhone and iPad devices.
